Chris Reimann is a senior academic specialist in the College of Education at Michigan State University (MSU), where he has served in a variety of research, teaching, and outreach roles since 1991. Much of his work has focused on professional learning for educators and extending the impact of research for practitioners and policy makers, with a special interest on improving STEM education. Chris served as co-coordinator of the state’s Education Policy Fellowship Program and established the Next Generation Project-Based Learning initiative for the MSU CREATE for STEM Institute. Chris’s research interest is the intersection of teacher quality and educational policy at the local, state, and national levels. He is the author of a chapter on STEM education in the US for The Education System of the Americas Handbook (DOI: 10.1007/978-3-319-93443-3). He holds a Ph.D. in curriculum, teaching, and education policy from Michigan State University.
