Challenge your MS students to identify local community or school problems they might solve as engineers. Learn how to guide them to isolate variables as scientists to design controlled experiments. Next, help them develop as engineers to modify a system to meet criteria and constraints. Finally, discover how students take what they've learned as scientists and engineers to apply to their own engineering problem where they develop a prototype for potential solution.
